Reply with quote | #1 | Hi Everyone, I am new to this site so I hope I am doing this right. I am interested in taking some riding lessons. I rode for 7 years when i was younger and have been out of the loop for some time. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a stable that does not only cater to the "younger" crowd. I am 38 and I had a bad experience with one stable. I was not taken seriously since I was older that the rest. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much. Reply with quote | #2 | Hi Gretchen and welcome to the board!
You might want to try Islandia farm - http://www.islandia-farms.com/ My children take lessons there. Islandia hosts the Horseless Horseman Foundation http://horselesshorsemen.org/ and I have seen many pleased adult riders taking lessons there.
If you click on either of the links all the contact information you need should be easily available.
Hope you find a stable that brings you back to riding again! __________________ Been there, jumped that! |

Reply with quote | #3 | Hi Gretchen,
Have you tried Sweet Hills in West Hills. If you're interested I can give you the name of a very nice and competent trainer.
