Let's get some feedback. Where do you most enjoy trail riding? Blydenburgh? West Hills? Connetquot? Muttontown? or some other place? Would you recommend a particular park or trail at a certain time of year?

I like to ride at Connetquot, probably because that's where most of my friends are.  But I like to travel to different parks and will ride anywhere.  I love going camping with my horses and try to get upstate at least once or twice a year.  We stay at Tony Simonetti's place and ride the Brookeville Trail System up there.

Welcome halleyrider!

I always liked Connetquot, too! Especially for the long, flat trails and riding through the river (can you still do that? It's been quite a few years since I trail rode there). Now I do most of my trail riding in West Hills Park.

Although I do most of my riding in West Hills because it's so close, I can just walk up the road and I'm there, Muttontown Preserve is a place one can get lost in and Blydenburg is a pretty and restful setting particularly around the lake.
